Are you tired of store bought yogurts loaded with sugar? No problem! Here is one of healthy-er yogurt recipes I came up with.  This Yogurt Drink with Berries is awesome and can become your favorite snack. Drink it when you feel hungry and you will not crave foods you try to avoid so much. It is very filling and will keep your "batteries" running smooth till your next meal so you can make it there like a hero! 😉

INGREDIENTS


  • 1 cup homemade yogurt (you can use store bought plain Greek yogurt)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 banana
  •  3- 4 strawberries (or other berries)
  • Pinch of cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS

Place yogurt, ricotta cheese, and a banana in a blender. Blend for 10-15 sec to achieve smooth consistency. Garnish with berries and enjoy!

*I use homemade yogurt for this drink. I do not strain it after I make it, so it comes out not as thick as Greek yogurt. If you use Greek yogurt, the drink might be a little too thick. In this case add a little bit of almond milk (or even water)!
