This Cranberry Mint Kompot is always on my healthy drinks recipes list!  It is a good source of vitamin C which is essential for the immune system. This drink can make long cold winter nights much better! In summer, chill it in the fridge for a couple of hours and you will be surprised how refreshing it is!


  • 3 qt (12 cups) cold water
  • 2 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tbsp dry mint leaves (or 1 tea bag)
  • Honey to taste


Add water, cranberries, and mint tea to a medium pot. 

Heat the pot over low to medium heat. When the water comes to a boil, remove the pot from the heat and leave it covered to steep for about an hour.

After an hour, strain the kompot. 

You can add some honey to it in case it is a bit too sour for your taste.  Enjoy!
